Information Referral (anonymous and confidential) linking women with resources in the community or at the Centre (e.g. housing, legal, emotional health, training). Distribution of printed materials about women's services and concerns. Publication of information booklets. Displays at various health and information fairs in the community. Support

Case Management & Counselling for women who want to make plans to change their lives. We offer One-to-One Mentoring for women in transition (e.g. leaving an abusive situation, re-entering the workforce, recent divorce or widowhood) who are matched with a supportive mentor volunteer who provides informal support in the community. We also offer Adult Literacy/English Conversation Tutoring for women who want to improve their conversational English or literacy skills work with a volunteer tutor to accomplish their goals. Education

SWC also provides courses, workshops and support groups on topics of concern for women. The Centre also offers specialized programs for young women, newcomer women and women with disabilities. You can access this information by links on our home page. Find out more about our workshops.
