About Lynda
Lynda Kosowan, MSW, RSW joined Scarborough Women's Centre as Executive Director in 1986. In recognition of her work at the Centre, she was awarded the Scarborough Civic Recognition Certificate in 1999 and was named a Paul Harris Fellow by Rotary International Foundation in 2007. Lynda was drawn to the Centre because of the possibilities it opens to women who want to create brighter futures for themselves and their children. She has maintained her commitment to the Centre because she appreciates the opportunity to work with the wonderful service users, volunteers, staff, Board members, community colleagues, and contributors who make the Centre a great place for women.
