Scarborough Women’s Centre – helping women move forward

We offer anonymous and confidential information and Referral services for women who want to address concerns in their lives.  Every year, we speak to about about 2,000 women by phone or email or in person.

We will listen carefully and help connect a woman with services in the community or at the Centre to address her needs. These can include concerns about newcomer integration, woman abuse, employment, education, practical supports, counselling and workshops.

Are you looking for holiday help or to help a family in need?  This brochure has information about resources in the community as well as some free or low-cost holiday activities.  Let us know if you have any suggestions to add to the list! HOLIDAY HELP 2017

We distribute print materials about women’s services in several languages.  Our website also includes a number of brochures including information about community supports for women at various stages in their lives.  Safety planning is also addressed. This is a brochure about General Resource Info for women in Scarborough

We also have a a brochure specifically for Pre and post natal resources

This Tenant’s guide to housing will provide you with useful information and resources.

Please also see the sections on specific types of women (e.g. Women – newcomers) for more info about resources and safety planning.  Let us know if you find any changes or would like us to add a link to other services.
