Why the Scarborough Women’s Centre?

Since its inception, the Centre has worked to support women through counselling, provide a space for learning, and build community through mentorship and community referrals. Our supporters know the importance of diversity and inclusion in our community. They value accessibility to resources that promote health and wellness for women. They understand why the social and economic empowerment of women are pivotal to the sustainability of a community.

We’ve received incredible support from Scarborough Toyota, Scarborough Shoppers Drug Mart stores and others. Thank you for bringing us to new heights!

A $5000 donation from St. Andrew’s Society of Toronto in October 2018 meant that 20 women were be able to receive free counselling with a professional counsellor to work on their issues, and become emotionally and economically independent.
