Scarborough Women’s Centre – helping women move forward

We offer anonymous and confidential Information and Referral services for women who want to address concerns in their lives.  Every year, we speak to about  2,000 women by phone or email or in person.  Please note that we are NOT a shelter.

We will listen carefully and help connect a woman with services in the community or at the Centre to address her needs. These can include concerns about newcomer integration, woman abuse, employment, education, practical supports, counselling and workshops

We distribute print materials about women’s services in several languages.  Our website also includes a number of brochures including information about community supports for women at various stages in their lives.  Safety planning is also addressed.
